ADR studios, editing and mixing rooms for audio-post production soon followed, and Sun Studio made an early transition into digital recording, editing and mixing.

From 1990 onwards, the focus was increasingly upon on foreign language dubbing of short format animations. The project deadlines were very competitive, and it was not uncommon for the facility to record, edit and mix 200 productions a month.

(This reached a peak in the mid 1990s, when over 3000 productions were finished in one year!)
