In the early 1990's, many film production companies were looking to produce foreign language versions of their latest cinematic releases in the region where that native language is spoken. There was a realisation that Sun Studio was ideally located to cater for this new business. Geographically speaking, there are many different languages and cultures within one hour of Copenhagen. In order to take up this new challenge, Sun Studio opened its first cinema sound stage in 1994.
